Anthony Andrews is an award winning creative director, curator, public speaker and co-founder of We Are Parable, a film exhibition company dedicated to creating experiences around Black Cinema.

With a decade’s experience in the film industry, Anthony has collaborated with some of the biggest studios in the world, including Netflix, Warner Brothers, Prime Video, Marvel and Disney, whilst producing opportunities for audiences around the UK to respond and experience Black Cinema in culturally relevant and memorable ways.

Through We Are Parable (a company he co-founded with his wife Teanne in 2013), he curated Who We Are in 2020, an unprecedented online takeover in association with the British Film Institute which celebrated the artistry of Black British Cinema, whilst providing a platform for Black Filmmakers.

In 2020, Anthony won the Arts and Media Senior Leader award at the Black British Business Awards, and earlier that year We Are Parable were awarded as Film London Lodestars.

In 2021, We Are Parable revived the Who We Are brand to create a nationwide celebration of Black Cinema around the world, working with Independent Cinemas around the UK.
